It’s the final episode of the season and tonight Brendan O’Connor is joined by comedian Tommy Tiernan, journalist Alison O’Connor and Iona Institute’s Maria Steen to discuss the burning topics of the week.

The Gardaí: Policing Paddy’s (TV3, 10pm)

Six weeks on from the mayhem of St. Patrick’s Day, this documentary follows An Garda Síochána as they police the streets of Dublin on one of the busiest days of the year. Expect lots of inflatable green hammers and cans.

Live UEFA Champions League (RTÉ Two, 7pm)

Monaco face Juventus in the first leg of this semi-final clash.

Everyone’s talking about… Dear White People

 

People are absolutely raving about Dear White People, the new comedy series on Netflix.

Based on the movie of the same name, it follows a group of black students in a predominantly white university. It currently boasts a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes with the Washington Post calling it a “timely and hilarious sendup” of racial politics in America.

All 10 episodes are available to stream on Netflix now.
